EuroPolitical Song Contest

Year by year new wars sadly spread across the world and they have a huge impact in many countries who are not even directly involved.

And so, year by year i feel like Esc votes become a little bit more political than the previous year.

This esc 2025 in particular got very weird votes in my honest opinion.

San Marino but mostly important Iceland got the last positions, the nordic island didn't deserve this...

Meanwhile there is always a country who got a lot of votes and maybe win too and half of the people watching the show don't know exactly why.

Israel was so close to winning it for real and it's really really hard to not think about it with a political view, really hard...

Italy got many points with country juries first, then got "only" 97 points and it felt a little weird.

Btw, by looking at the final results, this year like other years, you never understand very well what the european viewer exactly wants from this festival:

A serious song? A song just for dance without thinking? A ballad? A classic pop love song?

I feel the same of every edition at the end of it, because the winner could have been always another, who played way better musically and as a televised performance. 

Then you got the winner for the war. The winner for the gen z. The winner for the chicken song, really?!

I still don't know how Maneskin managed to win with a rock song.

In fact, this year, not even the Scandinavian countries tried to bring a bit of 🤟, like they used to...

Shame. Always such a shame.
