Loan-a-Lisa

The Simpsons are one of my favorite show and what I always liked about this show is that it's so accurated sometimes, very likely to reality, especially American society of course.

Along the over 30+ seasons, some episodes are full of truth and wonderful quotes.

Today, I was watching episode 22x02, 'Loan-a-Lisa', in which Abe Simpson give 50$ to every member of the family and each of them decides to spend those in different ways.

Lisa give hers to Nelson as microcredits but at the end of the day, it doesn't exactly go as expected from Lisa, so then, while all Simpsons reunited at the table for dinner, here comes the gem:

Lisa: "I used Grampa's money to try to help someone in need, but it didn't go the way I expected".

Abe: "Aw, sweetie, money can't change people.

It can just help them be who they are".
